CANADIAN FORCES INTEGRATED RELOCATION PROGRAM

*** WE ARE MILITARY RELOCATION SPECIALISTS!! ****

Understanding the needs of our Military Clients is our top priority!

As a member of the Canadian Forces, the time may have come for you and your family to move. Time is of the essence for you since you may have to sell your current home and purchase a new home in a new city in a very short time.

Chris has over 22 years of military service and understands all too well the burden a move can create on a family, but it does not have to be. The Young Real Estate Team is devoted to providing our military clients and their families with the best customer service to make their transition, to or from Halifax, as simple and as easy as possible.

There are over 1000 REALTORS® in the HRM area and finding the right one may seem overwhelming at first. Keep in mind, it is your choice but they must be registered with RLRS in the “Directory of Participating Suppliers”. Don’t settle for just any representation; choose the REALTOR® that is right for you!

We also have REALTORS® located close to every Base across the country to ensure your needs are met there as well.

The Young Real Estate Team will provide the highest standards and professionalism for all our clients.

Supporting our Troops is what we do!!

The Canadian Forces Integrated Relocation Program is there to help you with your Relocation.

The CFIRP helps make your military relocation easy and efficient:

• Get Ready To Go;
• Find a new home;
• Buy a new home;
• Move; and
• Pay for the Relocation

FUNDING

The CFIRP has three funding envelopes. It is important that as a member you understand the differences in these funding envelopes and how they may affect you:

Core Component: Funds your basic relocation expenses including the sale of your home, house hunting trip to your new location, buying a new residence, shipping your household goods for you and your family’s relocation.

Custom Component: A very specific funding formula, this money provided by your Department covers the cost of allowable expenses to enhance your move. Any funds remaining after the relocation are returned to the department.

Personalized Component: Your personalized envelope is funded by your posting allowance and any transferable savings or incentives you have earned as defined in the policy. Any unused funds are paid to the transferee.

Ensure you contact:

• Your CF Coordinator
• Your BROOKFIELD GRS consultant

You are going to need a lot of specialized help during your miltary relocation. RLRS has developed a "Directory of Participating Suppliers" with names and contact numbers that you can call:

• over 8,000 pre-qualified Suppliers
• maximum fee schedules pre-arranged
• pre-qualification of services and experience

The "Directory of Participating Suppliers" includes:

• Real Estate Agents
• Real Estate Appraisers
• Home Inspectors
• Lawyers/Notaries
• Rental Finding Firms
• Property Management Firms

Transferees are not restricted to Suppliers in the "Directory". However, transferees will only be reimbursed up to the maximum fee schedules for Suppliers.
